Candice is passionate about working with people to unlock their maximum potential. She enjoys assisting people to engage in everyday activities and develop life skills so that they may be able to live a more independent and more meaningful life. Candice has over 10 years’ experience that span a variety of clinical areas. These include brain injury, neurology, cerebral palsy, rehabilitation, orthopaedics, paediatric and general occupational therapy services. She has worked in clinical settings in both public hospitals and private practices in South Africa and Australia and has experience with clients of all ages.
Candice is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist. She is FIM accredited and has a special interest in functional retraining and assistive technology. She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engages in training, courses, and conferences, to ensure adherence to current best practice.
When she’s not working Candice can often be found wrangling her two boys. She enjoys cooking, exploring different cuisines and traveling with her family.
Having worked with Verve OT since 2019 Candice is excited to be meeting some new faces and getting to know our new clients on the Gold Coast.
