Judy has more than 18 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist across a range of clinical settings, within both the public and private sectors in both England and Australia. Her experience has particularly been within rehabilitation settings (both inpatient, outpatients and the community), working with patients with neurological conditions (particularly stroke and degenerative neurological conditions).
Judy’s area of expertise includes functional capacity assessment, equipment prescription, and assessments and recommendations for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). She has a particular interest in adult cognition and enjoys working with people to build their skills and capabilities in this area.
Judy is AHPRA accredited, FIM certified and she has undergone additional training in functional cognition (including the PRPP). Judy maintains her ongoing professional development to ensure she is equipped to provide best practice for her clients and is always on the lookout for new developments, particularly in the area of adult cognition.
Outside of work Judy enjoys exploring Sydney, spending time with friends and family (and 2 rescue cats!), and enjoying a range of activities including gospel choir, book club, church and pub quiz.
