Nivedita Vaidya

Nivedita has over 17 years of clinical experience working in a variety of multidisciplinary settings such as pediatrics, acute musculoskeletal, neurology and disability.
Nivedita has been working in the disability sector in Australia and has experience working with NDIS participants for over 4 years and has supported people living with disabilities and their families to achieve their goals. Nivedita has gained significant experience in conducting a variety of assessments and planning intervention for developmental conditions as well as completing functional assessments for adolescent/adult population. Her area of expertise includes working with children and young adults diagnosed with Global Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disability, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulty, Handwriting difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorders, ODD, Behaviours of concern and having complex needs, etc.
Nivedita has extensive post graduate training in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California, DIR Floortime approach, Handwriting without Tears, Autism and is a certified practitioner for Therapeutic Listening. Nivedita has been working closely with many universities as a clinical educator and has supervised students during clinical placements.
When not working, Nivedita enjoys being outdoors, working out and loves to travel and visit new places.
