Our Sydney-based OT home and living assessments are designed to help you live safely, comfortably, and independently in your own home. If you have complex housing or support needs, your therapist works with you to identify what adjustments, equipment, or supports are required to make daily life easier. We also assist with evidence for NDIS funding, including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL). These assessments can strengthen your application and guide decisions about the best housing and support options for your needs.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provides housing designed for people with very high support needs or significant functional impairment. Accessible features let you live more independently while also facilitating other supports, such as personal care and domestic assistance.

Supported Independent Living (SIL) refers to the supports you need to live independently in your home. SIL funding can cover both shared and individual arrangements, ensuring the right level of support is in place.

Both can work together to maximise your independence and safety.
