Join our team

At Verve OT, we know that experienced clinicians want meaningful work, a supportive team, and the freedom to practise well. We also know that joining a high-performing practice can feel a little intimidating from the outside – which is why we build support into every part of our culture. You’re never left on your own, and you’re never expected to ‘just figure it out’.

If you’re exploring NDIS OT jobs, work-from-home OT jobs, or experienced OT positions in Sydney, we offer a well-structured, genuinely caring, and OT-led practice. Verve OT lets you grow your career, expand your expertise, and make a real difference for your clients.

Why work with us

An OT-led practice

Verve OT was started – and is still run – by occupational therapists. Your work is guided by people who understand the realities of the job and the decisions you make every day. Clinical reasoning is at the heart of how we operate, so your professional judgement is genuinely valued and respected. Being part of an OT-led practice means your voice always matters.

Strong clinical support

You’re supported from the moment you join. Onboarding covers everything you need, from orientation and IT setup to clinical training, to help you settle in smoothly. Supervision is regular and easy to access, and there are plenty of chances to shadow colleagues, complete joint visits, or review reports together. We hold check-ins at 3, 6, and 12 months to give you time to reflect, ask questions, and keep growing. Our culture encourages high standards, but you’re never left to navigate them alone.

Space to specialise

Your interests matter here. Verve OT encourages you to build your role around the areas you enjoy most, whether that’s mental health, complex home modifications, assistive technology, paediatrics, sensory practice, or something else. You’ll be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are available for guidance, and you’ll have access to upskilling opportunities and more complex cases as you’re ready for them. It’s a great fit for therapists pursuing experienced OT positions in Sydney or expanding into new specialities.

Work–life flexibility

Our remote-first approach gives you room to manage your day in a way that feels sustainable. Less time on the road often means more energy for both work and life. And even while working remotely, we make sure you stay connected through weekly meetings, co-working hub days in Pymble, and shared projects that keep the team feeling close-knit – ideal if you’re exploring work-from-home OT jobs with genuine support.

Ongoing learning and CPD

Growth is built into our routine. Each year includes CPD days, webinars, and Lunch ‘n Learns where therapists share techniques, case examples, and new ideas. Verve OT Central, our internal resource hub, makes day-to-day work easier with templates, guides, and tools you can access whenever you need them.

A supportive, connected team

Connection matters to us. You’re paired with a buddy when you join, making it easier to ask questions, work through new situations, or plan joint visits. We run special interest groups that provide a space to explore topics you enjoy, and weekly check-ins give everyone a chance to share wins, challenges, and updates. Regular social events help the team stay connected on a personal level, too.

Tools, resources and safety

Verve OT provides everything you need to work safely and smoothly, including a duress alarm app, PPE for community visits, a laptop, phone, printer, and reliable IT help when you need it. Our scheduling and case-management systems (iinsight and Timely) keep your admin organised, so clinical work stays front and centre.

Recognition and care

Appreciation is an active part of our culture. Our leadership team stays closely involved with clinicians, offering support, celebrating achievements, and checking in regularly. We’re committed to small gestures, thoughtful feedback, and shared learning, creating an environment where our people feel looked after and acknowledged.

Who we’re looking for

If you’re skilled, curious, and genuinely invested in your clients’ progress, you’ll feel right at home here. You’ll need to have at least a couple of years of experience, as our team values independence, but we’ll always ensure you have someone to turn to for guidance, supervision, and thoughtful conversations about your work.

Passion, integrity, and reflective practice are qualities we deeply appreciate. We look for therapists who want to continue growing in their profession and enjoy seeing the impact they have each day. Many clinicians find Verve OT a great fit for supportive NDIS OT jobs within an OT-led practice where professional growth and quality care are both priorities.

“Workplace with a difference”

“Having access to an experienced and approachable team, flexible working conditions and the ability to work in the practice area(s) you feel most aligned with, is something that many employers don't get quite right. At Verve OT, these come standard.”
– Kirstin Hopkins, Occupational Therapist

“Valued and connected”

“Working remotely has several benefits, but Sarah and Nicole create ways of staying connected through face-to-face gatherings, email/phone support or even surprise gifts arriving in the mail. It is a joy working in a team that seeks to be the very best it can be; all the while, being encouraged and supported as a valuable member.”
– Sue Jones, Allied Health Assistant

“Flexibility and balance”

“Working for Verve OT is a dream come true. Verve OT has managed to strike a balance between a high standard of client focussed care together with OT's flexibility. I love that I can help my clients achieve their goals whilst being able to juggle the demands of being a working mum.”
– Marie Stephens, Occupational Therapist

Not sure where you fit best?

Many OTs with a few years in the industry join us while still figuring out where they want to focus their practice. We take the time to understand what you enjoy, what motivates you, and how you’d like to develop over time. Together, we’ll shape a role that feels right for you and gives you the chance to discover new strengths in a supportive environment.
