Abby has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 7 years across the aged care and NDIS sectors. She is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for her clients and supporting them to exercise choice and control in their everyday lives. She has experience in Assistive Technology, including complex seating as part of wheelchair and commode prescription. She is also experienced in completing functional capacity assessments and manual handling reviews, with a focus on practical, client-centred services that promote independence and participation.
Abby holds a Master of Occupational Therapy degree and values opportunities to learn new things and continue growing professionally. She is passionate about using what she learns to better understand the needs of others and support them in achieving their functional goals.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with her husband and two young children. She particularly enjoys going for walks together, being outdoors, and feeling the warmth of the sunshine.
