Sherridan Lown

Occupational Therapist

Sherridan is an Occupational Therapist with over five years of experience in the disability sector. She is committed to providing person-centred support and building positive, therapeutic relationships with her participants to achieve meaningful outcomes. Sherridan has a particular interest in supporting people with psychosocial disability, complex mental health conditions, and behaviours of concern. She is experienced in completing comprehensive assessments for individuals with complex support needs and works collaboratively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

Sherridan’s current practice focuses on assessment services for young people and adults (ages 16+), including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments, transition planning and low-cost Assistive Technology prescription. Sherridan is also certified in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and has previously worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Outside of her work, Sherridan enjoys playing the piano, teaching Scottish Highland dancing, and challenging herself with escape rooms.
