Occupational Therapist
April is an Occupational Therapist who has been working since 2020. Her current work focuses on functional capacity assessments, assistive technology prescription (basic AT), and supporting clients with both minor and major home modifications.She is a certified Home Modifications Assessor and is trained in the Functional Independence Measure (FIM).
April works with young adults through to older adults, supporting people to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their homes and communities. She is registered with AHPRA and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia. April is committed to person-centred care and values working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to help clients achieve their goals.
Outside of work, April enjoys discovering new places to eat, reading, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with her dog, Coco.
