Bernadette Walsh
Occupational Therapist
Bernadette is a skilled and passionate occupational therapist with over 20 years’ experience in adult disability and multi-trauma rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in working with individuals, families and support teams to facilitate participation and enable independence. Bernadette has broad experience in several third-party funding schemes as both an OT and case manager, as well as sought-after skills in the medico-legal arena. As a driver-trained occupational therapist, Bernadette has taught in tertiary post-graduate education, and has many years of clinical driver assessment experience.
Bernadette is able to apply her insight and compassion to high-quality clinical assessments and interventions. She has a keen interest in SIL and SDA assessments, as well as functional assessments, assistive technology prescription and ADL retraining.
When she is not working, Bernadette loves being physically active at the gym and outdoors. She regularly volunteers at her children’s sport clubs, and she seeks any opportunity she can find to travel with her family.
