Jo obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney in 2001.
She has over 20 years’ clinical experience providing assessment, complex case management and occupational therapy intervention within hospital and community settings. Jo is an accredited icare Case Manager and has extensive experience working within various insurance schemes (including iCare, Workers Care, CTP, Workers Compensation and Income Protection). Her clinical experience includes acquired brain injury, degenerative neurological conditions, chronic pain, complex orthopaedic injuries, amputees, reconditioning and occupational rehabilitation. Jo was a FIM Facility Trainer and is a highly competent assessor and clinician in the areas of ADL, psychosocial barriers to rehabilitation, functional capacity, ergonomics, minor home modification, and equipment prescription.
Jo is passionate about assisting clients to optimise their participation and independence with daily activities. When Jo is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children, baking, jigsaw puzzles and tackling endless renovation projects.
