Karina obtained her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University in 2017. For the past three and a half years, Karina has been working in the disability sector (NDIS).
Karina is experienced in working with children and adults with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, ataxia, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability.
Karina’s clinical interests include equipment prescription, including manual and power wheelchair prescription, home modifications and functional assessments. She enjoys collaborating with her clients and their families to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small!
Karina is a registered APHRA practitioner and has completed a number of professional development courses including home modifications, seating and positioning, manual handling, designing effective home programs and assistive equipment prescription.
Outside of work, Karina enjoys spending time with her family, visiting local restaurants, exercising and watching The Office.
