Stephanie Lovett
Occupational Therapist
Stephanie is a creative and compassionate Occupational Therapist. She has over 4 years experience working both in private NDIS and public community health settings. She is passionate about supporting autistic adolescents and young adults, alongside those with ADHD, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities. Prior to qualifying as an OT, Stephanie studied Educational Psychology and worked in Vietnam. During her time there she gained experience both teaching English and providing one to one support to primary aged students in international schools.
Stephanie has extensive experience in capacity building in meaningful activities like self-care, social participation and sensory assessments and supports. When collaborating with clients, it is important to Stephanie that she works in a way that is respectful, affirming, and strengths-based. She is able to support participation and performance in a variety of ways, including adapting the task and environment to be more inclusive.
Stephanie is committed to ongoing professional development and learning. She has completed training in a range of clinical areas including neuro-affirming practice, sensory regulation, toileting and Occupational Performance Coaching (OPC). She enjoys exchanging knowledge and ideas with her peers. She has experience supervising early career OTs and university students.
In her downtime, Stephanie enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, travelling and trying new restaurants across Sydney with friends.
