Meet Our Allied Health Assistant

& Administrator

Sue Jones

Allied Health Assistant & Administrator

Sue comes to Verve OT with a wealth of experience both in Australia and the United Kingdom as an Occupational Therapist. Having graduated in 2003, Sue began working as a Return to Work Consultant in the area of workers compensation. She then joined a hospital setting working with a split caseload between both inpatients (namely palliative care) and outpatients (particularly focusing on rehabilitation for clients with neurological conditions). The desire to live in another country sent Sue to England, where she then spent three years working in elderly care inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. As a Senior OT, she often had supervisory management roles and set up training programs/protocols. Within her career, Sue has carried out therapy programs in different clinical settings, prescribed equipment and worked with families to holistically care for their loved ones.

Sue and her husband returned to Australia and took on another fulfilling role – raising three children and recently introducing a furbaby to the family! Sue likes to spend her time volunteering at her church and the children’s school, and her hobbies include traveling and hiking. Sue now brings her Occupational Therapy skills to Verve OT by assisting our therapists to identify equipment solutions and develop therapy resources in her capacity as an allied health assistant.
