With over three and a half years of experience in the disability sector (NDIS), Tiffany’s areas of clinical expertise cover functional capacity assessments, equipment prescription, home modifications, assessments and recommendations for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Developing function-oriented goals and implementing therapy programs to build capacity in engagement in activities of daily living is a particular passion for Tiffany, as she enjoys working alongside families and care teams to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
Tiffany thoroughly enjoys community-based practice and feels working in the home setting allows her to build a better connection with each of her clients. She is motivated to maximise what the Scheme has to offer for people with disabilities, in order to increase independence and ensure appropriate supports are established to maintain and enhance one’s quality of life.
Tiffany is AHPRA accredited, a member of Occupational Therapy Australia, FIM certified and has undergone additional training in equipment prescription and complex home modifications. Tiffany is highly committed to ongoing professional development by regularly attending courses, webinars and conferences to ensure adherence to current best practice.
In her down time, Tiffany enjoys exploring Sydney, hosting meals for family and friends and sitting down with a cuppa and a book (or Netflix).
