Mobile Shower Commode Chairs (MSCC) – Assessment, Selection & Clinical Analysis
Knowing exactly where to start when prescribing a shower commode can be tricky for any OT. With the need to consider the client, their current and future needs, their caregivers, their environment plus how they are going to use the commode, it can very quickly go wrong if a thorough assessment is not undertaken. This webinar will take a deep dive into all things commodes including consideration of risk, integration with the environment, effective trials and knowledge of a range of options for every client and their unique needs and circumstances.

About the Presenters: Peta Hardy and Hollie Holland from Coast Rehab are OTs with a wealth of clinical experienced in providing assistive technology to clients with complex needs including those with spinal cord injuries and progressive neurological disorders. They combine evidence-based research with clinical practice experience and extensive product knowledge to make this an informative and thought-provoking presentation. Both presenters are members of Australian Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Association and are passionate about effective implementation of assistive technology.
